A Comprehensive Survey and Installation Service is offered to all purchasers of KORC brand kitchens, fitted furniture and other projects. Choose from any or all of the following:

 Site Survey & Fitting Service

We can carry out a site survey and “measure up” to help in the planning of your project.

This takes into account recommendations for any building work, reworking of plumbing, electrical requirements, lighting suggestions, replastering etc.

From a logistics point of view, it makes sense to have these carried out by local trades prior to our arrival to install your furniture.

Once our pricing up has been completed and the job confirmed by payment of a deposit, we are happy to release as many copies of relevant plans as you need for the other trades to work to.

We are equally happy to either use KORC products to refurbish your existing furniture or plan completely new installations.

Using our recycled materials database, we are also happy to consider looking at any type of project you can imagine, no matter how strange or unusual.

A site survey within a 30 mile radius of our Ilkley showroom can be booked at a fixed fee of £99.00 + vat, payable on booking the appointment, which will be refunded on confirmation of an order.

For surveys outside this area, the survey fee is £99.00 plus a mileage charge of 40p / mile based on AA Routefinder distances post code to post code, again + vat, with only the £99 + vat being refundable as before.

For orders on a “supply only” basis, delivery will be charged at flat rate from an appropriate carrier.

For orders to be fitted by us, we will use our own transport to bring the goods with us unless the order is too big to fit into our own vans in one load, then an appropriate carrier will be used as stated before.

Fitting service

You can, of course, choose to have your furniture fitted by your own fitters but our installers are specifically trained in machining and finishing the recycled materials and have the necessary equipment to carry this out.

Please bear in mind :

That normal woodworking equipment, techniques and adhesives are not always adequate in most circumstances to give professional results and should you choose your own fitters we cannot be held responsible for the quality of the finished installation.

The terms for our installers are:

Labour cost of £150.00 per day / per man for a minimum 8 hour day.

Travelling time to and from site from our base will be included within the relevant days labour.

Where applicable, overnight accommodation and meal expenses for our installer/s will be paid for by the client on a bed, breakfast & evening meal basis.

We can pay this and present the bills for payment along with your final invoice or if you have a favoured B & B etc., you can always strike a deal with them and settle direct.

The installers will fit all supplied furniture, work surfaces, accessory panels, 2nd fix pipework to sinks, dishwashers, washing machines and waste pipes, cooker hood ducting and position any relevant light fittings we supply, to then be connected and tested by your electrician.

However for the immediate future, we will require the gas pipework to be carried locally by your own corgi registered installer.

A skip provided locally would be useful, as we will not be returning any waste material back to our home base.
